Juan Salcedo, CEO de Aprendum, fue protagonista en enero del
programa Pulso Empresarial, de Gestiona Radio, dentro de
una de sus mesas redondas sobre emprendimiento.
En la tertulia, en la que se trataron diferentes casos de éxito,
se habló de la plataforma Aprendum, pionera en la oferta de cursos de calidad.
Juan Salcedo, quiso empezar su intervención con el recuerdo de cómo “se
lograron bajar los precios de productos formativos”, un caso de éxito que los
ha llevado “posteriormente a estar presentes en seis países de Latinoamérica,
incluyendo el recién abierto, Brasil. Nos hicimos socialmente responsables para
democratizar la formación y ofrecer cursos de calidad dentro del mejor precio
que pueda encontrarse”.
En la plataforma de Aprendum se incluyen cursos de todas las
temáticas que, como contó Juan, “no abarcan solo los cursos para conseguir
trabajo, sino tendencias que incluyen cursos online de todo tipo: programas,
universitarios, sanitarios, informática. Y entre ellos, hay por supuesto
formación para empresas y emprendedores”.
Centrados en esta cuestión, se habló de plataformas
específicas para el sector empresarial y de cómo Aprendum logra competir con
esos players que se mueven, sobretodo, en el entorno gratuito, como los MOOCS.
Se trata de cursos masivos y de calidad, para mucha gente y a coste 0. Son un
tipo de cursos más específicos y dirigidos sobre todo a universitarios. A
diferencia de ello, el CEO de este Marketplace de formación, especifico que el
éxito de su plataforma se basa en “dirigirse a un público más general, llegar a
una masa más amplia de personas y con aspectos más generalistas. Nosotros
atacamos a un grupo social más amplio, a la base de la pirámide social (gente
en paro o que busca reciclarse o ampliar su formación) con cursos útiles y a un
precio razonable”.
En la tertulia de Gestiona Radio se habló también de la
internacionalidad de este proyecto. En ese sentido, Juan Salcedo aludió al
hecho de que “el conocimiento es transaccional, aunque hay que aprender la
idiosincrasia de cada país para poder llegar a su público. Hay que adaptarse al
público y por eso tenemos versiones locales con las que cuidamos cualquier
posible giro”.
Todo ello a través de un marketmix
en el que se incluyen “SEO, SEM, display, campañas virales, redes sociales,
afiliación… Parece que la barrera de entrada es sencilla, pero luego ves que no”.
